Employee First helps lessen the burden in unexpected accident by providing added protection for Accidental Death & Disablement (ADD). The additional payout will be multiplied¹ if the ADD occurred due to natural disasters, while travelling on public transport, or during Malaysia National Public Holiday. Should accidental death or disablement occur to any one of your covered employees, Employee First may pay out up to 400% more to the basic sum assured of your employee’s plan under the policy.

Here are the basic benefits that your employees are entitled to under Employee First:

  • Death Benefit
    Offers financial security to your employee’s dependents in the event of death. The basic sum assured of your employee’s plan will be payable.

  • Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) Benefit and Terminal Illness Benefit
    Help soften the financial impact of such a tragedy. An advance of the basic sum assured of your employee’s plan will be payable.

  • Funeral Expenses Benefit
    Helps your employee’s family in the hour of need by providing a token payment to cover immediate expenses following death.

How does this plan work?

Z Extra Payout

Assuming you have insured your employee under Plan 3 of Employee First with a basic sum assured of RM100,000, the benefit payout for Z Extra upon accidental death may be any of the following:

3 The Terminal Illness sum assured is payable in one lump sum, up to a maximum of RM100,000. The payout is an advance payment from the basic sum assured. The balance sum assured, if any, will be payable upon Death or Total & Permanent Disability.

4 The payout for ADD and PPD will be in accordance to the respective Scale of Benefits for ADD and for PPD. For more details, please refer to the sales illustration, product disclosure sheet and policy documents.

5 The payout for ADD will be in accordance to the Scale of Benefits for ADD. However, the additional payout for accidental disablement is applicable to selected disablements only as per the Scale of Benefits for ADD. For more details, please refer to the sales illustration, product disclosure sheet and policy documents.
