Terms and Conditions
The 12 Days of Care (“Contest”) is organised by Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad [Registered No.:196801000442 (8029-A)], Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad [Registered No.:200601012246 (731996-H)], Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad [Registered No.:201701035345 (1249516-V)] and Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad [Registered No.:201701045981 (1260157-U)] (hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Organisers”).
DURATION AND ROUNDS
The Contest will run from 15th December 2025, 12:00PM until 26th December 2025, 11:59PM (“Contest Period”). The Contest will run daily and entries for each daily contest will close at 11:59PM on the same day.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens and/or permanent residents of Malaysia who are eighteen (18) years of age and above as of 15th December 2025. Employees of the Organisers are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The Contest will be held via the Organisers’ Facebook page. The eligible participants (“Contestants”) must complete the following steps for their entries to qualify as eligible submissions:
Step 1: Visit the Zurich Malaysia website daily during the Contest Period.
Step 2: Search our product pages to find the hidden “Care” banner featuring the milestone that we care for. Sample of the “Care” banner as follows:
Step 3: Take a screenshot of the “Care” banner and the webpage URL, then upload and submit them along with your details using the contest entry form here.
PRIZES
There will be 1 winner each day until the end of the Contest Period. Each winner will receive one RM500 Shopee Vouchers.
(Hereinafter shall collectively be referred to as the “Prizes”)
A total of 12 winners will be selected. The Contestants may only win one prize throughout the Contest Period.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Contestants must ensure that their direct messages on Facebook are open to public and be contactable for verification purposes.
2. The winners will be selected at random using a random name picker https://www.random.org provided that the entry meets the qualification criteria stated herein.
3. To qualify for the Prizes, the Contestants must complete all steps outlined in the “How to Participate” section. The Contestants may submit multiple entries throughout the Contest Period. However, each participant is eligible to win only one Prize.
4. Entries must be original and the post shall not contain any inappropriate or obscene language and content such as nudity, bullying, violence, spam, harassment, intimidation, hate speech, threats, discrimination, dating, plagiarism, unauthorised commercial communications, unlawful multi-level marketing, login information or access of accounts belonging to someone else or anything which is offensive or illegal under the laws of Malaysia.
5. By submitting any pictures and videos, the Contestants agree to grant the Organisers permission to use, reproduce, edit, and share their pictures for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media platforms, websites, and marketing materials, without additional compensation.
6. The Organisers reserve the right, at their discretion, to remove any entries which do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
7. The Organisers, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, representatives, distributors and dealers shall not be liable for any losses or damages whatsoever suffered or sustained directly or indirectly (including but not limited to loss of opportunities and any indirect or consequential losses) or personal injury suffered or sustained by any of the Contestants in connection with or arising from participation in the Contest or with any of the Prizes offered or forfeited.
8. The Terms and Conditions of the Contest shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
9. By participating in the Contest, the Contestants hereby agree that the Organisers may collect, obtain, store and process the Contestants personal data for the purposes of managing and operating the Contest in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and the Organisers’ Privacy Policy or Personal Data Protection Notice which can be found at https://www.zurich.com.my/customer-hub/show-me-more-info/personal-data-protection-notice-for-contest-or-promotion.
10. Further, the Contestants are deemed to have provided consent for the Organisers to disclose their particulars to the third party service provider(s)/authorised supplier(s), including but not limited to its vendors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies engaged by the Organisers to contact them during and after the Contest and for the purposes related to the Contest including the delivery of the Prizes.
11. The Organisers reserve the right at their absolute discretion to vary, amend, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
12. These Terms and Conditions will prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising the Contest.
13. The main language of the Terms and Conditions shall be the English language. Any translation to languages other than English shall be for convenience only.
14. By virtue of an entry to the Contest, the Contestants signify their absolute acceptance and agreement to all the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein.
15. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest at any time without giving any prior notice to the Contestants.
WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
1. Only the 12 winners will be notified via Facebook private message at the end of the Contest Period. Winners are required to provide any additional information as requested by the Organisers within seven (7) working days from the date the private message is delivered. If a winner fails to provide the correct information within the seven (7) working days, his/her entry will be disqualified.
2. “Personal Details” needed from the winners are: full name (as per I/C), identity card number or passport number, postal address, email address, mobile number/ telephone number, and racial background.
3. The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify, at their absolute discretion, the eligibility of any participant and/or revoke or forfeit any Prizes at any stage of the Contest if:
• entries submitted are incomplete or fail to fulfill any of the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein;
• there is a violation of any applicable laws or regulations; or
• for any reason whatsoever the Organisers have reason to believe that a participant has attempted to undermine the operation of the Contest in any way whatsoever, including but not limited to fraud, cheating, or deception.
4. The Organisers’ decision on matters relating to the Contest (including, but not limited to the selection of the winners) shall be final and absolute. No discussion, correspondence, enquiry, appeal or challenge by any of the Contestants in respect of any decision of the Organisers shall be entertained.
5. Prizes fulfillment will commence within 30 days after the Contest Period subject to the winners providing their accurate personal details to the Organisers.
6. The Organisers reserve the right to substitute or to replace the Prizes with other prizes of similar value at any time without any prior notice given to the Contestants.
7. The Organisers will not be held responsible for Prizes exchanged or sold for cash or transferred to any other person.
8. Any failure by the winner to accept or receive the delivery of the Prizes will not be reimbursed. The Prizes are non-transferable or redeemable by cash or any other products or services offered by the Organisers.
