Enhanced Windscreen Cover

Your windscreen cover will not be terminated after a replacement claim. Instead your windscreen sum insured will be reduced by deducting the windscreen claims amount. In addition, you also have the option to reinstate the claims amount portion of your windscreen cover at a pro-rated premium rate.

Notify Zurich as soon as practically possible to avoid delays. Generally, we request that you notify us of a claim within seven (7) days of the date of accident/loss.

Head to the nearest authorised or panel workshop, where you will be guided through the claim submission process. Please prepare the necessary documents for submission: Claims Process

Own Damage/Road Accident/Flood Claims:

Step 1:

  • Call our 24-hour Roadside Assistance at 1-300-88-5566 for help towing your vehicle to any authorised or panel workshop
  • Take photos of your vehicle with car plate number visible the flood scene.
  • Make police report within 24 hours.
     

Step 2:

  • Submit all required documents to the authorised or panel workshop within 7 days from the date of incident.
    1. Police Report
    2. Copy of Insured's and / or Driver’s Driving License
    3. Copy of Insured's Identity Card or Business Registration Card
    4. Copy of Driver’s Identity Card
    5. Copy of Vehicle Registration Card or Vehicle Ownership Certificate
    6. Copy of Policy Schedule or Cover Note (for workshop’s verification)
  • Sign on the Zurich claim form provided to you by our panel workshop.

Step 3:

  • Upon receipt of full documents, the authorised or panel workshop will submit your claim to Zurich for processing within 3 working days*

    You may check your claim status here (for Private Cars and Commercial Vehicles only).

Step 4:

  • Look forward to receiving an SMS at the point of successful registration and approval.  

    The authorised or panel workshop will contact you as soon as your vehicle is ready for collection.

Note: Duly completed and signed Motor Accident Claim Form is required for submission if your vehicle is sent to a non-panel workshop. We may also request for additional documents or information if further investigation is required.

*Excluding claims under further investigation and claims with severe vehicle damage.

 

Windscreen Repair Claims:

Step 1:

  • Prepare all required documents before proceeding to our recommended authorised or panel workshop / windscreen specialist.
    1. Copy of Insured's and / or Driver’s Driving License
    2. Copy of Insured's Identity Card or Business Registration Card
    3. Copy of Driver’s Identity Card
    4. Copy of Vehicle Registration Card or Vehicle Ownership Certificate
    5. Copy of Policy Schedule or Cover Note (for workshop’s verification)

You can send your vehicle for repair at least 7 working days after the accident. Please take your vehicle to our nearest authorised or panel workshop as soon as possible.

Generally, processing takes up to 14 working days, subject to the severity of the damages. You will receive WhatsApp updates when your vehicle is ready for collection.

You can obtain a police report by lodging the accident at the nearest police station.

Yes, 24-hour roadside assistance is available. Please contact our 24-hour Roadside Assistance at 1-300-88-5566 or WhatsApp us at +603-7989 0345.

Please refer to your agent for clarification. For compulsory excess, please refer to your policy/certificate wording. 

Zurich may deduct an additional RM400 as Compulsory Excess if at the time of the incident: 

  • The driver is under 21 years old
  • The driver holds a Provisional (P) or Learner (L) license
  • The driver is not named in the Schedule as Named Driver.

You may submit a request for our review. Please note that the outcome depends on our assessment.

Step 1:

  • Make a police report within 24 hours.

  • Submit all required documents to any Zurich General Insurance branch within 7 days from the date of incident.
    1. Duly completed and signed Theft Claim Form
    2. Police Report
    3. Copy of Insured's and / or Driver’s Driving License

    5. Copy of Driver’s Identity Card
    6. Copy of Vehicle Registration Card or Vehicle Ownership Certificate

Step 3:

  • Upon receipt of full documents, Zurich will be in touch with you as part of the processing procedures.
    For Agreed Value certificate, we shall get back to you on the claim decision within 21 working days*.
    For Non Agreed Value certificate, this shall be within 48 working days*.

Note: We may request for additional documents or information if further investigation is required.
*Subject to the outcome of the investigation.
