Z-HomeProtect Takaful

The Z-HomeProtect Takaful certificate provides you with coverage for loss or damage to your building and/or contents solely used for residential purposes only caused by the perils mentioned in the certificate.

• Fire, lightning, thunderbolt, subterranean fire
• Explosion
• Aircraft and other aerial devices and/or articles dropped therefrom
• Impact with any of the buildings by any road vehicles or animals not belonging to or under control by You or any of Your family member
• Bursting or overflowing of domestic water tanks, apparatus or pipes
• Theft but only if accompanied by actual forcible and violent breaking into or out of a building or attempt thereat
• Hurricane, cyclone, typhoon, windstorm
• Earthquake, volcanic eruption
• Flood
• Robbery and hold up in the premises of your property

There are 2 sections in the Z-HomeProtect Takaful certificate. You can opt to subscribe either Section I or II or both.

Participants of the Z-HomeProtect Takaful will not be able to avail the benefits under the following circumstances:

• War, civil war and any act of terrorism;
• Subsidence and landslip, riot strike and malicious damage; unless with additional contribution;
• Spontaneous combustion;
• Radioactive and nuclear energy risks;
• Consequential loss; except for Rent Takaful.

What is Z-HomeProtect Takaful?

To protect your house and your belongings from damage and loss caused by unfavoruable events, you can opt for the Z-HomeProtect Takaful plan. It is a Shariah-compliant household and houseowner takaful plan that offers coverage for your home and personal belongings if they incur any loss or damage.

This takaful certificate even provides coverage for the damage and repair of garages and outbuildings, fixtures and fittings, walls, gates, and fences that are on the same premises as your house.

Who is eligible for Z-HomeProtect Takaful?

House owners are eligible to apply for the Z-HomeProtect Takaful. If you own a house, then you can ensure its safety by applying for this houseowner takaful.

Does the plan cover my jewellery?

The Zurich Z-HomeProtect takaful plan covers jewellery, if its total value does not exceed 1/3 of the total sum covered on contents.

Sijil ini menawarkan perlindungan bagi kerugian atau kerosakan kepada bangunan dan/atau isi rumah anda yang digunakan semata-mata untuk tujuan kediaman akibat bencana yang disebutkan dalam sijil.

• Kebakaran, kilat, petir, kebakaran bawah tanah
• Letupan
• Pesawat dan peralatan udara lain dan/atau barangan yang jatuh daripadanya
• Rempuhan ke atas mana-mana bangunan oleh sebarang kenderaan jalan raya atau binatangyang tidak dimiliki atau di bawah kawalan Yang Diinsuranskan atau mana-mana ahli keluanrganya
• Kepecahan atau limpahan tanki air, perkakas atau paip dalam rumah
• Kecurian namun hanya jika disertai dengan pecah masuk atau keluar bangunan secara kekerasan & keganasan atau percubaan melakukannya
• Ribut taufan, siklon, taufan & rebut angin
• Gempa bumi & letupan gunung berapi
• Banjir
• Rompakan dan tahan di dalam premis harta benda anda

Terdapat 2 seksyen dalam sijil takaful Z-HomeProtect Takaful. Anda boleh memilih untuk menyertai sama ada di bawah Seksyen 1 atau 2 atau kedua-dua Seksyen.
